Alpha Forward Steer models

Alpha’s forward steer model is where their success in production began. At the end of the 1970‘s they launched their 32 foot ‘floating caravan’ style craft with a full sliding canopy over the forward saloon. This was soon followed by a 42ft version allowing up to ten, but more often eight berths to be offered. They even produced a couple of 50ft versions for their own hirefleet.

For 1993 Alpha Craft launched a new version of their forward steer models. This again had a forward sliding canopy but each side now opened independently. This allowed just one side or both to be open. The styling was updated and is noticeably different, with large sloping forward windows. Differing lengths including 29, 32, 35, 42 and 46 feet variants were produced with a variety of layouts. This too became a very successful style and is still produced today.
